Welcome to Verde Chalet

Located in the Turoa Alpine Village, this chalet is the perfect base to stay and play in the Ruapehu Region. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there is enough space for a group of friends or family to come together and spend some time exploring what Ohakune has to offer. Only a short walk to Ohakune town centre and parks, 5 Minute drive to the Junction Après ski area and 35 Mins drive to Turoa Ski field. This is the perfect base to stay in Ohakune!

Bedrooms:

Bedroom one: 1x Super King + 1 single

Bedroom Two: 1x Queen

Linen: All beds have duvets and pillows. You can either bring your personal linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels etc.) or hire through Ruapehu Chalet Rentals. Your chalet will have bathmat/s and tea-towel/s
You can hire Linen for us – we will make sure this is made up on the beds prior to your arrival

Linen Hire is a flat rate and not charged per night.
Single $20.00 and Double $25.00 – This includes top and Bottom Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels.

Bathrooms:

Bathroom one – Features a shower over bath, vanity unit, heated towel rail and toilet.

Bathroom two– This area features a stand-alone shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and a toilet.

Kitchen: This area is open planned with the dining area and lounge. The kitchen is full sized and fully equipped including a microwave, oven, fridge / freezer, toaster, and a dishwasher.

Dining: flowing through the downstairs area, you’ll find the dining room is open plan with the kitchen. It features a large wooden table with seating for 10 guests. There is a wood burner in this area, which also flows to a lunge area.

Downstairs – this Lounge area features a few couches and coffee table. This area is open plan with the kitchen and living area.

Upstairs – These lounge areas upstairs are more so suited for an entertainment area. There is a large pool table as well as full lounge seating and a TV with freeview, a TV and DVD player with loads of movies to watch, as well as assorted childrens toys. this area opens up to the small outdoor deck.

Heating: the super king bed and 1x queen bed have electric blankets on the beds, as well as panel heaters and extra blankets. There is a large wood burner in the open plan living are downstairs.

Laundry/Drying Room: This property features a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer.

Parking/outside: There is a small, decked area around the entrance of the house, as well as off street parking for up to 3 cars. This property is in the Turoa Alpine village and therefore is NOT fully fenced.
