Welcome to 20 Marino Street

Our newly listed chalet is the ultimate family getaway destination. VR1 is a quaint family cottage that boasts 2 generous queen-sized bedrooms and a children’s bunk room. This chalet is based in the small town of Rangataua, Five minutes drive to Ohakune. There is a large fenced grassed area to catch the afternoon sun. You’ll be sure to stay cosy with the house having a heat pump, a wood burner and radiator heaters throughout the house.

Sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms, One bathroom, Two toilets.

Bedrooms:

First bedroom homes a Queen-sized bed, Sleeping two

The Second Bedroom also has a Queen bed, Sleeping two

The third bedroom is the Kids Bunk room, has two single bunks which sleeps four.

 

Linen: All beds have duvets and pillows.  You can either bring your personal linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels etc.) or hire through Ruapehu Chalet Rentals.  Your chalet will have bathmat/s and tea-towel/s
You can hire Linen for us – we will make sure this is made up on the beds prior to your arrival
Linen Hire is a flat rate and not charged per night.
Single $20.00 and Double $25.00 – This includes top and Bottom Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels.

 

Bathroom – This bathroom is situated away from the bedrooms and has a shower, vanity, and toilet.

There is a separate toilet off the laundry.

Kitchen – This large open planned kitchen has everything you need to feed 8 hungry guests.

There is a full-sized fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, and microwave. There is also a dishwasher.

Dining: The dining area is open with the kitchen and lounge. There is a large 8 Seat wooden table with bench seating.

Lounge: Open planned with the dining area – there are three couches to seat 8 people. There is a Television and a wood burner in the lounge.

Entertainment:  Flat screen TV, With Freeview and Netflix. There is also a Music system to connect to, along with a wide range of books and board Games. Unlimited WIFI with Starlink Satellite. This provides amazing downloads for the whole family to enjoy.

There is also an outdoor decked area, which includes a BBQ and catches the afternoon sun!

Heating – The house is heated by a wood burner in the lounge as well as a Heatpump in the dining area. There is also additional heating in the bedrooms. Firewood is provided.

Laundry: There is a separate laundry off the kitchen which has a washing machine, dryer and basin and features a separate toilet.

Parking/outside – There is enough off Street for Three Cars.
